Your first step when starting to look for an apartment should be to calculate your approximate monthly mortgage payments. Using this calculator, once you enter the amount of your mortgage, the duration of the mortgage and the interest rate of the mortgage, you'll see a sample mortgage amortization schedule. Amortization is the calculation of payments to repay a mortgage at the end of a fixed period.

  • The amount of the mortgage
  • The duration of the mortgage
  • The interest rate on the mortgage

Using these figures, you can find out how much your mortgage payment will be each month.

We have supplied you with some default numbers as a guide. Typically, mortgages schedules are calculated from 15 years (180 months) to 30 years (360 months).

years x 12 months = months
