This little, hidden away Korean tea shop is owned by the folks who run the restaurant Hangawi. The ceiling is hand painted to look like a palace and there are formal tea ceremonies and workshops. The loose teas are some of the finest you'll encounter anywhere.

This is one of several Oren's outposts throughout the city. Each one gets its beans from a local roasting facility everyday to ensure maximum freshness. There are over 50 varieties to choose from along with a variety of loose leaf teas from around the world. They also carry baked goods delivered daily from Yura and Balthazar.
The Morgan Library

This grand building was built to house the private library of J.P. Morgan. Designed by McKim, Mead & White, it contains a highly valuable collection of prints, drawings, illustrated books and early manuscripts. It now has a large extension designed by noted architect Renzo Piano along with a new auditorium, café and reading room.

This small museum features rotating exhibits that range from modern Scandinavian furniture to works by noted artist Louis Matthiasdottir. They also run a regular film series covering both historical and contemporary Scandinavian cinema. If you should need a break from all this culture, there's a terrific little café run by the folks who own Aquavit.
