Sake, sake and more sake. This tiny little place is a "must go" destination for those craving one of their 20 or so varieties. Hot, cold, sweet, dry, they're all here. There are also free dumplings on certain nights.

Located on the second floor of a turn-of-the-century building in the heart of Chinatown, this museum is very difficult to find. There isn't even a sign to aid your plight. Once inside, however, you'll discover a wealth of information on the history of Chinatown and Chinese immigration to New York. They also have a number of rotating exhibits by Asian-American artists.

A victim of its own success, a few years back, Sweet & Vicious got singled out for having a great backyard garden. Almost instantly, the place was packed with college kids. And it's never quite recovered. All the same, the garden is pretty nice at night.

A sweet, intimate lounge not far off the Bowery. Comfy seating in a candle-lit room makes it a particularly strong draw for couples. The live D.J.s are hit or miss, but overall this is a perfect spot to take someone you want to sit close with over a nice glass of wine.
