This eight-story building, located on cobblestoned Bond Street in NoHo, is distinguished not only by the sculptural quality of its Egyptian limestone fa?ade but also by its famous neighbors (notably 40 Bond just across the street. Completed in the spring of 2007, 25 Bond Street was designed by BKSK for Goldman Properties and is one of several new buildings that have made this block one of the most interesting in the city.
With only nine loft-like apartments, one can correctly assume that each apartment is quite spacious. Each residence consists of approximately 3,800 square feet and includes three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, and a balcony off the master bedroom at the rear of the building. The units feature two wood-burning fireplaces and floor-through ventilation. The open kitchens, in walnut and aluminum finishes, are fitted with Sub-Zero refrigerators, freezers and wine coolers. The baths are elegantly tiled in floor-to-ceiling limestone and have a soaking tub and a separate steam shower. The triplex and duplex units each have a private rooftop pool.
Residents enjoy a sizable private garden with an outdoor grilling area, direct elevator access to each apartment and two parking spaces per unit. The building offers concierge service and individual lobby storage.
Just outside 25 Bond's door, the fast-paced Noho, Soho and Greenwich Village neighborhoods beckon but first residents will be greeted by Japanese sculptor, Ken Hiratsuka's granite sidewalk creation (as well as a sculpture in the main lobby). The building's stylish design and decor enhance its surroundings nicely.
