Change is in the air on Riverside Boulevard where The Avery, a 32-story, 274-unit condominium situated on the former grounds of the New York Central Railroad 60th Street Yard, is one of six luxury apartment buildings being developed on the 20 acres between 59th Street and 65th Street.

The Extell Development Company acquired the site from Donald Trump and his partners who developed six apartment towers just to the north on Riverside Boulevard. When Extell's projects at this location are completed, Riverside Park will effectively have been extended from 72nd to 60th Streets.

Capitalizing on the Avery's proximity to the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, building residents have access to the concierge services of the Center's patron desk, a privilege usually reserved for the more generous of Lincoln Center's benefactors. This partnership includes preferential access to tickets for many Center events, exclusive performances and "Meet the Artist" programs in the Avery's private in-house theater, and an on-site library curated by Lincoln Center.

The first-class touches and views extend beyond the arts programs into the building itself and the individual residences. With Abigail Michaels' hotel-style concierge service to attend to resident whims, the landscaped garden, gaming room, children's playroom, fitness center and garage, lobby level cold storage, gaming room with billiard table and dart boards, screening room and 24-hour library with Wi-Fi Internet access are just icing on the luxury living cake.

In addition, all private residences have kitchens with have Sub-Zero refrigerators and Miele appliances, washers and dryers as well as bathrooms with Toto toilets, Waterworks fixtures and deep soaking tubs.
