This five-story apartment building was erected in 1910 and contains 20 cooperative apartments.

The red-brick building has a one-story rusticated limestone base and a small cornice. It has a bicycle room and windowed kitchens. It has storage facilities and is pet-friendly.

The walk-up building is just to the west of a very similar building that has a larger cornice. Both buildings have fire-escapes.

They are both to the west of the impressive PS 166, the Richard Rodgers School of the Arts & Technology at 132 West 89th Street. It was built in 1898 and designed in Collegiate Gothic style by C. B. Snyder. In1995, the building s interior was modernized and made barrier free and M. Paul Freidberg designed the playground that is open to the public after school hours. Graduates of the school in addition to Mr. Rodgers, the great popular composer, include J. D. Salinger, the author, Jonas Salk, the doctor, and Jack and Lewis Rudin.
