The 12-story former office building originally owned by the Collegiate Church Corporation at 45 John Street was expanded by two floors and converted to a residential condominium development in 2008.

It has 84 apartments ranging in size from 589 to 1,357 square feet. The two-story addition will have 7 penthouses with 11-foot ceilings and most will also have wood-burning fireplaces.

The building, which is at the corner of Dutch Street and across the street from the United Methodist Church, has concierge service by Insider, a roof deck, a 24-hour attended lobby, a fitness center, a live-in superintendent, and refrigerated grocery storage.

The technology package at 45 John includes Verison FiOS and an iPod docking station equipped with in-wall speaker system in every loft.

Apartments have 10-foot ceilings, Brazilian walnut floors, and a Bosch washer and dryer.

Kitchens have a Sub-Zero refrigerator and a full Bosch appliance package, including a stainless steel convection oven, cooktop, microwave and fully integrated dishwasher.

Bathrooms have marble counters, Zuma tubs and rain showerheads.

The building has a wood entrance canopy.

Manhattan Capital LLC, of which Stuart Katzoff is president, and RREEF Opportunity Fund Group are the developers and Daniel Goldner was the architect for the roof addition.
