The building is on an attractive street and has a concierge, an entrance marquee with a rusticated, white marble surround, protruding air-conditioners, consistent fenestration, spiked sidewalk landscaping, and a garage. It has no balconies, and no health club.

It is not far from Union Square, Stuyvesant and Gramercy parks and the Flatiron district and there are many nearby restaurants.

There is good cross-town bus service on 14th Street.
