"This enormous, 21-story, white-brick apartment house between Fifth Avenue and University Place has a very central location that is extremely convenient to public transportation, Lower Fifth Avenue, Greenwich Village, Chelsea and the Union Square and Flatiron districts.

The old Academy of Music theater gave way, however, to the spectacular Palladium disco, designed by Arata Isozaki and Klein's was demolished to make way for the huge Zeckendorf Towers project that revitalized the neighborhood and led to a major clean-up of Union Square Park. At the same time, Park Avenue South and the Flatiron District became very chic with trendy restaurants and many important advertising and publishing office tenants and in the 1990's art galleries began to move from SoHo to Chelsea just to the west." The building includes a large common laundry room on the lobby level, storage and bike storage rooms (waitlist on bikeroom), an on-site valet service and on site garage accessible from within the building. Generally easy approval. Board elections are every June. Half block to Union Square, short walk to F and M trains, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's. Market next door as well as farmer's market in Union Square. Across the street from The New School and close to NYU."

"Normal Post War White Brick building. Standard apartment layouts throughout. Some combinations though. Smack dab in the middle of Union Square on 14th St. This building spans two entire blocks. Full Concierge and Doorman. Recent renovations and a garage below. Standard Downtown Board.. normal financial requirements, but they do NOT interview!"

"Very different layouts. Some units are renovated and some are the same as when they were built in 1964. All have central airconditioning. Steps from Union Square in Greenwich Village. Close to everything between Fifth and University Place. Onsite dry cleaners/garage. Roof deck, common storage, central laundry room and laundry service. Full service with elevators. Pets are allowed. Allow parents buying for children. Max financing 75%."
