The 13-story building, which is known as the Glass Farmhouse, has 52 apartments.
It is close to the Javits Convention Center and the Lincoln Tunnel as well as the many new high-rise residential projects along West 42nd Street.
When it was converted, the area was still known as Hell’s Kitchen and was known for its streetwalkers and crime but after the Millennium new residential development has begun to significantly transform the area with many new projects.
The building has no doorman and no garage but it is close to the Hudson River and not too far from the many galleries and boutiques and restaurants of Chelsea.
There is cross-town bus transportation on 34th Street.
