Co-op located in Greenwich Village, between West 3rd Street & West 4th Street

Description of 250 Mercer Street

250 Mercer Street is a co-op complex that takes up an entire Greenwich Village block bounded by Broadway and West 3rd, West 4th, and Mercer streets, comprised of nine pre-war loft buildings within the NoHo Historic District. The variety of converted commercial spaces results in an unusually diverse selection of layouts unit arrangements with oversized ceilings, duplexes, fireplaces, and more. The complex is serviced by a full-time doorman and a live-in superintendent and offers elevators, bike storage, laundry, a large courtyard garden and a spacious roof deck. The pet-friendly co-op allows co-purchasing, guarantors and pied-a-terres.

The centrally-located complex sits within walking distance of SoHo, NoHo, Nolita and both the East Village, all famed for their shopping, dining, and arts destinations. Several subway stations sit nearby and offer access to the B/D/F/M/Q/R/W/4/6 trains. The co-opis located two blocks away from Washington Square Park, and practically within the New York University campus.

Carter Horsley's Review of 250 Mercer Street

Carter Horsley's Building Review
"This attractive and large complex of 12- to 16-story buildings at 250 Mercer Street in Greenwich Village dating back to 1890 was converted from commercial use to 277 cooperative apartments in 1980 by Raynes & Leichter.

The architect for the conversion of nine buildings here, which includes a wide diversity of apartment layouts - some quite dramatic - was Henry G. Greene. " Read Carter's Full Review
