The gray-brick building has a dark green marble, one-story base and sidewalk landscaping with spiked planters. It has some terraces, discrete air-conditioners, a doorman and a garage. It has no health club. It is across the street from a handsome Art Deco-style prewar apartment building.

This is a very good Upper East Side location that is convenient to many restaurants and good neighborhood shopping. There are numerous cultural and religious institutions in the area and there is good cross-town bus service on 79th Street. There is a local subway station at 77th Street and Lexington Avenue where Lenox Hill Hospital is also located.
