Carter Horsley's Review of Hudson Condo

Carter Horsley's Building Review
"This 18-story, mixed-use building at 225 West 60th Street opened in 2006 and has 80 residential condominiums and a 40,000-square-foot, five-level facility for Lander College for Women of Touro College.

The tower is setback above the base and also on its west façade where there are private terraces on the 17th and 18th floors facing the Hudson River. On the south façade, the center portion of the façade above the 13th floor is clad in metal panels that continue as a screen wall up to the roof and give the building strong accent lines. The residential tower has corner windows and blue-green glass façades." Read Carter's Full Review

"WELL-BEING Draw in the city`s energy as you exercise your body and mind at The Hudson`s exclusive health club. This modern and airy facility has its own indoor workout space and rooftop exercise terrace on the building`s sixth floor. The perfect place for cooling down, warming up, stretching or just lounging after a workout. Live well and be well at The Hudson. OUTDOOR In addition to many private terraces, The Hudson offers a beautifully designed roof garden available to all residents including a bar, lounge chairs and lush greenery. This spacious outdoor area on the building`s top top floor is made for relaxing, socializing, sunning or simply watching the sunset. The location of The Hudson is unparalleled; its promixity to the rich recreational and clutural life of the Upper West Side makes this a special address to call one`s own. Stroll the neighborhood, and you`ll experience an array of culture, from Lincoln Center, (home to the New York City Ballet, Metropolitan Opera, and New York Philharmonic), to theaters and museums. Many artists, actors, musicians, dancers adn writers live, work and play on the Upper West Side. From the brownstone and cafe lined side streets to the lights of Broadway, the area around The Hudson is the cultural mecca of New York. Many fine restaurants and stores make this area their home as well. The Shops at Coumbus Circle in the new Time Warner Center include some of the world`s finest luxury retailers such as Hugo Boss, Coach, Williams Sonoma, Tourneau, Pink and Whole Foos... the list goes on and on. Although The Hudson is a building furnished with every possible convenience, the best amenity - New York City - is right outside your door. The Hudson located so closely to the Columbus Circle makes commuting unbelievably convenient by having the 1, 2, 3, A, B, C, D trains a few steps away."
