Carter Horsley's Review of 7 Essex Street

Carter Horsley's Building Review
"Much of the Lower East Side has been gritty and run-down for most the past century with only a few new public housing projects broaching its generally low skyline.

Its floor-through apartments have east and west exposures and initial sales were in the $500 to $600 a square foot range and the two penthouses were priced about almost $900 a square foot, levels that would have been at or very near of the top of the market in the city just a few years before."
