This 21-story apartment building was one of the first to be erected on Fifth Avenue after World War II.

The building, which has a white-brick facade over a two-stone limestone base, has an elegant entrance, a sunken lobby, a doorman and elevator persons. The building's lobby is very attractive and lined with marble and has handsomely incised bronze elevator doors. There are mail chutes on each floor.
