The building's retail space is occupied by Gracious Home, one of the city's best housewares emporiums.

The building has a doorman, a roof deck, a garden, discrete air-conditioners and a canopied, one-step-up entrance. It has no balconies and no garage.

It is across the street from the very handsome Trafalgar House at 188 East 70th Street, one of the nicest "Post-Modern" apartment towers in the city.

There is excellent local shopping in the vicinity and the fashionable boutiques of Madison Avenue are only two very attractive blocks to the west. There are many good restaurants in this area and many major art galleries and exclusive clubs are also nearby.

While the side-streets here are very quiet, the avenue has considerable traffic, but it has also dramatically transformed itself from the dingy days of the "El" to the Upper East Side's finest assemblage of luxury apartment towers.

There is cross-town bus service on 72nd and 67th Streets and a subway station is several blocks away at 67th Street and Lexington Avenue.
