About Lincoln Terrace, 165 West 66th Street
This 20-story, white-brick apartment building was one of the first large residential projects to open at the time of the completion of the nearby Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.
Built in 1964, the building's south facade is highlighted by a central bay of recessed balconies that serve several apartments on each floor.
The 375 apartments were converted to cooperatives in 1984. Its location is wonderful as it is on a fairly quiet street but within short walking distances of wonderful shopping and entertainment.
