Rendering of 1222 Putnam Avenue via ARC Architecture & Design Rendering of 1222 Putnam Avenue via ARC Architecture & Design
As work progresses at 1222 Putnam Avenue, designer ARC Architecture & Design has released the first rendering of the residential building to rise where a two-story townhouse once stood. A six-story, 19-unit building was originally planned, but plans for a four-story, seven-unit building were approved and the rendering reflects this. The average apartment size of 676 square feet suggests rentals, and the rendering shows luxurious homes: Every home has floor-to-ceiling windows and private balconies.
The new building is going up on a quiet street, but the dining and transportation on Broadway are a short walk away. Prices are not yet available, but the median Bushwick rent is $2,200/month for one-bedrooms and $2,425/month for two-bedrooms (per CityRealty listings).
