Here’s our first look at a swanky new residential building coming to 100 Lenox Road at the Flatbush-Prospect Lefferts Gardens border. The 5,500-square-foot site, at the corner of Bedford Avenue, holds a to-be-demolished Victorian house that was purchased by Moshe Tal for $2.6M according to Bklyner.
Permits were filed last summer calling for a 7-floor building with 32 apartments spread throughout 22,000 square feet of residential area. It is not known if the units will be rentals or condos, but the success of the condo development, 2100 Bedford Avenue, may sway the developer to the latter.

Bienenfeld Architecture is listed as the architect of record and a new rendering published on the firm’s site matches the context of the 100 Lenox Road site. The rendering shows a handsome design of vertical white columns framing metal-banded windows. Trellises are shown and the two terraces along the top floor. The floor schedule says there will be a recreation room, a bike room and a ground floor recreation area.
