Manhattan developer JD Carlisle has partnered with Shanghai-based Fosun Group on the planned 756-foot, 188-unit condominium rising on the former site of Bowery Mission headquarters. The design by Handel Architects has been described as a “building on stilts” for its 155-foot pedestal with mechanicals and retail, which would put the property over the roof line of a neighboring hotel to give residents stunning views.
