VIA 57 WEST, 625 West 57th Street

No fee rental located in Midtown West, between Eleventh Avenue & Twelfth Avenue

Description of VIA 57 WEST at 625 West 57th Street

VIA 57 WEST at 625 West 57th Street is a 41-story rental building with a dramatic design that prompted CityRealty architecture critic Carter Horsley to call it “the most dramatic new building in New York City since Frank Lloyd Wright’s Guggeheim Museum” and rank it among CityRealty’s Top 10 NYC Buildings of the Decade. Architect Bjarke Ingels of the BIG Group designed a structure that soars with a sail-like, metallic surface to a fine point, combining the American skyscraper form with the European courtyard building type. The courtyard, notched sithin the pyramid, offers a tranquil strolling garden.

Many of the building’s one- to four-bedroom residences are angled to the west to capture sweeping panoramas of the nearby Hudson River and offer dishwashers and washers/dryers. The pet-friendly, smoke-free building, full-time-doorman building features several lounges, a party room, a chef’s kitchen, a game room with ping pong, billiards, and poker tables, a golf simulator, a screening room, and a fitness center with an indoor swimming pool, exercise studios, and an indoor half-basketball court.
