A New Shoe Collab Pops Up in SoHo

SEPTEMBER 24, 2010

Florsheim by Duckie Brown launches a new pop-up shoe shop with a little help from some stylish friends.

Every shoe-wearing American man knows Florsheim for their no-nonsense, affordable footwear. The venerable brand’s most recent attempt to embrace its old-school Chicago roots while catching up with modern style has resulted in a new collaboration: Florsheim by Duckie Brown (the nom de style of designers Daniel Silver and Steven Cox) re-imagines classics like wingtips and desert boots without reinventing the wheel.

The growing brand gets even more bang for the (nu)buck with the help of on-trend downtown men’s boutique Odin New York in the form of a spacious SoHo popup shop at 109 Mercer Street. The shop—which will only be around for six months following its recent fashion week launch—also stocks cool books, socks and other covetable accessories. More info on the merchandise via Racked.
