Resembling a Gypsy tent from long-ago and very far away (or as far as your imagination), the intimate 350-seat theatre is wrapped in velvet, brocade and mirrors.

It’s a mind-bending venue visually, but even better for the offbeat, sexy-but-sophisticated bi-weekly burlesque-inspired shows like “Absinthe,”—billed as “the most sultry circus in town,”—top performers like the equally sultry Ute Lemper, Martha Wainright, a popular lineup of DJs and other eccentric attractions.You can expect something to be happening here almost every evening, and the adjacent Green Fairy Garden and full-service restaurant are open most of the day, evening, and well into the night. It’s a perfect spot for a particularly special late summer date or a pre-show cocktail. Spiegelworld is definitely a world of its own, with just enough room for you to step inside and experience it.
