Fashion-Obsessed in SoHo: Arizia Opens

A new Canadian superstore is the affordable fashion corridor’s newest butterfly.

Just as the craving for pale, floaty summer dresses sets in, a new source for chic, reasonably-priced pieces has emerged on Broadway in SoHo. Canadian clothing chain Aritzia—already open in several U.S. cities including Dallas, San Francisco, Portland, and Chicago—headed east to our fashion capital with a collection of in-house design labels like Talula, TNA and A Moveable Feast—wearable collections of hot-off-the-runway statement styles, cute basics and understated party pieces at prices that aren’t quite Forever 21 cheap but well below Barney’s territory.

The 10,000 square-foot, two-story affordable fashion superstore is set to open June on 15 at 524 Broadway (at Spring Street), but you can get a sneak peek-and-purchase opportunity before the doors officially open: Aritzia is offering a “Shop Before the Shop” pop-up in the store’s third floor showroom until June 12; Shoppers can order regular items in advance of the store’s opening as well. Hours for the preview pop-up are at the site.
