Urban Escapes specializes in mini-vacations to re-energize and give city folk a break from the everyday—and a chance to meet new people—without having to travel for days to reach that relaxation point. Trips include whitewater rafting in the Poconos to hiking and camping in the Catskills to rock climbing in the Shawangunks. Their slogan: Get out of the bubble! This summer's Zen Escape hike and yoga trip promises a great time-out day that begins with a morning hike through a Hemlock forest in Harriman State Park in Upstate New York. Yogi-led morning and afternoon stretch sessions and a refreshing midday meal round out the day.
