New Developments In The News

JULY 14, 2008

A nod to a condo's history, new life for an elegant classic, more Tribeca chic and movin' in uptown
Marketing has begun for The Theater Condominium at 133 Second Avenue in the East Village. The mint-renovated condos on colorful St. Mark's place get their name from theaters that have historically been both in and around the corner address. In addition to the culturally rich neighborhood, residents of the 11 apartments can enjoy a roof garden, floor-to-ceiling windows, washer-dryers, marble countertops and stone flooring.

Word is out about the elegant pre-war condo at 235 West 71st Street. Situated at a coveted Upper West Side address between Broadway and West End Avenue, the building offers spacious apartments with solid oak floors, tilt-and-turn windows, fireplaces, terraces, gardens and more of what you'd expect from a classic Manhattan residence.

Tribeca residents will get more neighbors when Peter Moore's new condominium at 240 West Broadway (FLAnk Artchitects) is complete. Modern slit windows and a setback tower will distinguish the 9-story corner address.

Harlem residents near Dafina, the new co-op at 2130 Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard are getting new neighbors as well. December is the move-in date for the co-op building, which is currently under construction. Some standout amenities include a spacious lobby, top-notch fitness center, club room, landscaped roof deck and full wireless connectivity to complement brilliantly appointed interiors.
