Katy Perry and Nick Jonas do the pop star real estate shuffle; Giants’ co-owner scores a posh rental pad. . .
The TriBeCa penthouse on North Moore Street wasn’t a love nest for Katy Perry and Russell Brand for too long. Since the couple is now splitsville, the singer is reportedly hoping to sell the 1,500 square-foot two-bedroom duplex for the same $2.75 million she bought it for in 2010 (NYPost).
Jo Bro bro Nick Jonas is renting a penthouse at the Chelsea Mercantile while he takes his star turn on Broadway. The apartment, which belonged to designer Marc Jacobs before its current owner–hockey player Scott Gomez–bought it in 2007, is a three bedroom duplex which will cost the star sibling about $20,000 a month (CurbedNY). Built in 1906, Chelsea Mercantile has 354 condominium apartments, a full-time doorman, roofdeck, health club, and a Whole Foods.
NY Giants chairman and co-owner Steve Tisch can feel like a winner in his newly-acquired rental apartment at Trump Park Avenue. The condo (it currently belongs to TV hotshot Donny Deutsch and is on the market for $33 mil) will cost Tisch around $60k a month. The full-floor penthouse has four terraces and Central Park views (NY Post). Considered one of Park Avenue's most distinctive towers, Trump Park Avenue was built in 1929 and converted to a condominium by Donald Trump, who bought the building in 2002.
