Actress Anne Hathaway and fiance Adam Shulman recently moved into the Clocktower Building at 1 Main Street in DUMBO after getting a thorough sampling of the neighborhood’s $6,000-a-month one-bedroom apartments with river views (Gothamist).

Actor Matt Damon was recently outbid on the $20 million sale of a 7,000-square-foot condo he fancied at 535 West End Avenue on the Upper West Side. The unit was part of a 14,000-square-foot home before being split into two separate units. The good news: If Damon has his heart set on the building, the second unit in the pair is expected to hit the market soon (NYPost).

At the star-studded Loft at 30 Crosby Street in SoHo, the luxuriously-appointed duplex penthouse is on the market again, this time being sold by Grammy-winner Alicia Keys and hip-hop producer hubby Swizz Beatz. The pair, who bought the apartment from rocker Lenny Kravitz for $12.75 million in 2010 (after years on the market and a big price reduction), are looking for $17.95 million for the five bedroom, 6,167 square-foot condo with a third-level roof terrace (RealEstalker).
