Sales for Chloë’s cozy maisonette, Judge Judy’s pied-a-terre; West Village duplex offers drum studio and supermodel neighbor .

Blonde indie film veteran Chloë Sevigny’s East Village garden apartment was finally sold for $1.76 million. The one-bedroom co-op at 119 East 10th Street was purchased by tech entrepreneurs Jeffrey Hammerbacher and Halle Tecco (Hammerbacher was Mark Zuckerberg’s college buddy and an early Facebook employee). The rustic garden-level hideaway, once featured in House & Garden, has a wood-burning fireplace, a chef’s kitchen, lots of built-ins and a private garden (NYPost).

Judith Sheindlin–a.k.a. Judge Judy–recently sold her two-bedroom Sherry Netherland pied-a-terre for $8.5 million. She and her husband bought the corner co-op at the famed hotel at 781 Fifth Avenue with Central Park views and a separate home office in 2009 for $6.75 million (CurbedNY).

A 2,500 square-foot maisonette duplex at 166 Perry Street is on the market for $3.3 million–neighbors in the building include Sports Illustrated cover model Irina Shayk and her boyfriend, soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo. The unit boasts one bedroom plus a lower-level rec room being used as a drum studio by the current owner. The apartment also has 12-foot ceilings and French doors that open onto the quaint cobblestone streets of the West Village. Other neighborhood notables include Julianne Moore, Calvin Klein, Hugh Jackman and Amy Poehler (NYDN).

Big Tickets

A sprawling three-bedroom 15th floor apartment at Rosario Candela-designed 778 Park Avenue was recently listed for $29 million. The 4,500 square-foot co-op with three terraces, a private elevator and 11-foot ceilings was once the home of late ABC exec (“Monday Night Football,” “Nightline” ) Roone Arledge. The sale must be an all-cash deal, and the building’s co-op board is known for being selective (The Real Deal).

An “attic” penthouse apartment in the Plaza at 1 Central Park South is once again on the market, this time for $59 million. The same apartment changed hands last spring for just over $25 million–the latest sale includes custom furniture designed by the firm of the current owner, developer Christian Candy of London's One Hyde Park (CurbedNY).
