Peter Jackson sells TriBeCa penthouse pair; Anthony Bourdain buys an uptown condo; Drew Barrymore closes on a Park Avenue co-op.

Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson found a buyer for a pair of duplex penthouses at 155 Franklin Street in TriBeCa for $19.95 million. The combo totals 8,309 square feet plus 6,000 square feet of outdoor space and features plenty of exposed brick, wood paneling,10-foot coffered ceilings, wide-plank floors and custom kitchens (CurbedNY).

Celebrity chef, show host and author Anthony Bourdain and wife Ottavia just bought a 2,250 square-foot condo at 40 East 94th Street for $3.35 million. The couple will be moving in to the three-bedroom apartment from their longtime rental at Claridge House at 201 East 87th Street (CurbedNY).

More on Drew Barrymore’s recent co-op purchase at 830 Park Avenue: The $8.3 million sale of a four-bedroom duplex recently closed, which means it’s likely the actress (with a baby on the way) and hubby Will Kopelman will soon be moving into the loft-like pre-war space with a built-in stereo system and three fireplaces (NYO).
