One Story Literary Debutante Ball
The Literary Debutante Ball is a benefit celebrating One Story magazine and honoring one writer who has been an exceptional mentor to others. The ball will feature specialty cocktails, music, dancing, and a silent art auction. This year, One Story will also honor novelist and memoirist Dani Shapiro for her years of extraordinary support of emerging writers.

Sunday Bingo at the Standard Grill
Think Sundays are boring and Bingo is for grannies? Think again. The Standard Grill in the supertrendy Standard Hotel NY has been holding a just-above-the-radar Bingo session on Sunday nights for nearly a year. Prizes vary from designer handbags to TV series box-sets, dance contests break ties, each week features a new theme (like cops and robbers or superheroes), and the fun goes on. Participation is free, though drinks are not.

Kips Bay Decorator Show House
The Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club 39th Annual Decorator Show House is a high-profile renovation project in residence in an Upper East Side mansion. Each of the 16 rooms in this four-story, 10,000-square-foot neo-Federalist style mansion—once owned by John Hay “Jock” Whitney—will delight anyone looking for decorating inspiration. An opening-night cocktail reception kicks off the month-long viewing.

New Hue IVORY Dinner Theater Experience
NEW HUE is a boutique dinner experience series fusing seasonally-oriented gourmet cuisine, live music, circus arts and fire performance. Join the NEW HUE family for IVORY, a three course East African meal that evokes the spices of ancient trade routes and the finest flowers of Africa, crafted by Betty Brooklyn. The infamous House of Yes will be transformed into a canvas tent fitted with large brass tigers, elephants and palms and performances by the NEW HUE ensemble.
