What's Going on This Week

AUGUST 20, 2008

Get out of your living room and watch people who aren’t athletes do things that don’t involve breathable spandex. Mostly.

Comedy Olympics
If you can’t shake the medal fever, at least you’ll get a chance to laugh about it. Leave the TV for a comedy fix at the 2008 Comedy Olympics. The final Awards Ceremony and The Tight 5 (Best 5 minutes of comedy) at Caroline's live up to their name without the scary security or the dodgy air.
August 21, 10PM
Cost: $10

Hair
Even if you’re more Virgo than Aquarius you’ll appreciate counterculture cuties Claude (Spring Awakening star Jonathan Groff) and Berger and their youthful, beautiful crew of flower babes just as much as ever in this Public Theater/Shakespeare in the Park production of the “tribal love rock musical.”
