New York International Latino Film Festival
The NYILFF’s mission is to showcase the works of the hottest emerging Latino filmmaking talent and celebrate the diversity and spirit of the Latino community. Events include the New York City premiere of Downtown Calling, a documentary that shines a well-deserved spotlight on the city’s creative underground born of the economic rubble of the 1970s.

First Annual Chelsea Art Walk

Lincoln Center Out of Doors 2010 – Dig: Their Royal Hipness
As part of the 27th annual Roots of American Music series, witness these classic creators of cool: Sandra Bernhard sends up modern culture with offbeat humor, original Baadasssss Melvin Van Peebles adds spice to Shel Silverstein’s hipster Hamlet, Steve Cuiffo channels controversial comic Lenny Bruce, and David Johansen of New York Dolls fame brings punk rock swagger to beatnik folk and gutbucket blues.
