2010 Whitney Biennial
This year the Whitney’s signature exhibition embodies a cross section of contemporary art production, including different media ranging from painting and sculpture to video, photography, performance, and installation. Also on view: “Collecting Biennials,” featuring artists whose work was shown in Biennials over the past eight decades.

Armory Show/Armory Arts Week
Every March, artists, galleries, collectors, critics and curators from all over the world make New York their destination during Armory Arts Week. The art-stravaganza that follows includes a constellation of concurrent shows and events, including VOLTA NY, Pulse Contemporary Art Fair, Independent New York and many more.
