Carter Horsley's Review of The Lausanne

Carter Horsley's Building Review
"This 30-story tower between First and Second Avenues is close to the United Nations and its large and attractive park and to Grand Central Terminal. Erected in 1977, it was converted to a condominium in 1980 and has 166 apartments. The building has good views from its upper floors, a health club, a concierge and a doorman, and large picture windows. Excellent cross-town bus service runs on 42nd Street and there are many restaurants in the neighborhood, which is close to the Tudor City enclave and the Ford Foundation Building on 43rd Street. Since it was erected, several high-rise luxury apartment buildings have been built in the vicinity significantly improving the residential character of this mixed-use area." Read Carter's Full Review
