Selection Methodology for West Side Condos

The West Side Condo Index tracks the major residential condominiums on the West Side of Manhattan. CityRealty has not placed an absolute limit to the number of buildings included in this Index. The criteria for inclusion in this index are as follows:

Property type and location: The building must be located between 57th Street to 110th Street and from Central Park West (8th Avenue) to the Hudson River. Only condominiums are included.
For newly constructed properties, a minimum of 3 months closing history is required.
The building must have a minimum of two sales during the past 3 years and have a total of at least 15 individual units.

CityRealty evaluates all of its indices regularly. For the West Side Condo Index, CityRealty will add or remove properties to the Index on a as needed basis throughout the year. All pricing information has been provided by the New York City Department of Finance via the Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS).

Please note that CityRealty does not rank buildings within the Index; rather, a default sort order is provided (which is price / ft² based on the each building's past 12 months sales history).
