"This large and handsome apartment house at 262 Central Park West between 86th and 87th streets was erected in 1929 and converted to a cooperative in 1960.

The 15-story building, which is also known as 1 East 86th Street and 2-4 East 87th Street, has 86 apartments and was designed by Sugarman & Berger for Sisbrothers Inc., of which Norbert Natanson was president. Sisbrothers sold it in 1950 to Whitehouse Realty Associates, headed by Walter Hirshon." Read Carter's Full Review
