This handsome, 21-story building at 200 East 21st Street on the southeast corner at Third Avenue near Gramercy Park was completed in 2018.

It has 67 condominium apartments and was built by Alfa Development.

BKSK was the architect.  Its other projects include 25 Bond Street, 1 Great Jones Alley, and One Vandam Street.

Champalimaud did the interior design Halsted Welles Associates did the landscaping.

Bottom Line

This attractive building near Gramercy Park has a strong sculptural quality highlighted by its light-colored façade grid against its gray brickwork.

Description

The building has an entrance marquee and sidewalk landscaping.

It has some corner windows and most windows are deeply inset beside gray brick mullions within protruding concrete framing that gives the building an impressive and rigorous geometic aesthetic.

It has setbacks above the 14th and 17th floors.

Amenities

The building has a doorman, a roof deck, a children’s playroom, a package room, a laundry, storage, a bicycle room and a media room.

Apartments

Apartments have 7-inch-wide plank oak flooring and oak kitchen cabinetry with white sand Quartzite countertops and backsplashes in a honed suede finish and Miele appliances.  Master baths have Turkish Lilac marble walls with white Sivec marble floors.

Apartment 17A is a two-bedroom unit with 1,673 square feet and a 25-foot-wide living/dining room and a 12-foot-long, windowed kitchen.

Apartment 12D is a two-bedroom unit with 1,464 square feet of interior space and 69 square feet of outdoor space with a 29-foot-long great room with a balcony and an open, windowed kitchen with a breakfast bar.

Apartment 4E is a one-bedroom unit with 1,030 square feet with a 27-foot-long living/dining room with an open kitchen with a breakfast bar.

Apartment 5B is a one-bedroom unit with 772 square feet with a 32-foot-long living/dining room.
