Carter Horsley's Review of 77 East 12th Street

Carter Horsley's Building Review
"Built in 1966, this red-brick corner building has an excellent location close to Union Square, the beautiful Grace Church on Broadway at 10th Street, New York University and public transportation. The 20-story building, which has corner windows, was converted to a cooperative in 1985. It has 175 apartments. The building replaced others that contained some bookstores for which Fourth Avenue used to be famous, but it is just down the block from The Strand bookstore on Broadway, one of the city's most legendary, especially for discounted art books. Some upper floor apartments have striking views and the revitalized Union Square area has significantly improved the ambiance of the neighborhood, which has always had superb public transportation and many restaurants, boutiques and antique stores.

This doorman building welcomes pets, and amenities include a bike room, storage, live-in super,  and an amazing roof deck with 360-degree views." Read Carter's Full Review
