Sales have begun at the River Ridge Condominiums at 74-78 Ridge Street, which also has an address of 198 Delancey Street on the Lower East Side.

The six-story building has been developed by East SoHo Corp., of which Philip Chong is president.

Harry H. Hong is the architect.

The building has a distinctive white facade with pink banding. It was enlarged from a former 3-story commercial building. Its south facade overlooks an elevated approach to the Williamsburg Bridge.

Many of the 46 apartments have balconies and some have balconies. The units have individually controlled heating and cooling and ceilings range from 9 to 10 feet.

Prices range from about $473,000 for a 466-square-foot, one-bedroom apartment to about $643,000 for a 634-square-foot, one-bedroom unit to about $1,928,850 for a 983-square-foot, two-bedroom apartment.
