A recent visit to 25-01 Astoria Boulevard revealed that construction is nearly complete on the six-story, mixed-use building on the rise. Retail stores and medical offices will be housed on the ground floor, and an elevator will lead to 27 rental apartments on top. Many units will have private outdoor space, and amenities will include a bike room, fitness center, and roof terrace. There will also be on-site parking.
Permits were filed by Constantine Efsathiou of CE Architects, the architect of record. The owner is Double T Corporation, which just saw work resume on its building a few blocks away at 29-15 Newtown Avenue.
