Now gearing up to open to residents early next month, ALTA LIC at 29-22 Northern Boulevard has released a preview into its luxury interiors and lobby. Following a leasing launch last month, the building has notched its title as the largest ground-up, purpose-built co-living building on the continent.

Inside, homes are defined by oversized layouts, with studios averaging 516 square feet, one-bedrooms averaging 723 square feet, two-bedrooms averaging 1,138 square feet, and three-bedrooms averaging 1,317 square feet.
Residences feature 9-foot ceilings, oak wood flooring, and in-unit washers and dryers. Custom kitchens include Caesarstone countertops, porcelain tile backsplashes, and stainless steel appliances. Baths are complete with deep soaking tubs.
Amenities are designed by Andre Kikoski and spread across multiple floors. On the second floor is a co-working lounge, a game hall with stadium seating, and an event room with speakers, a projector, and a screen. The fourth floor is a wellness hub with a state-of-the-art fitness center, a yoga and movement studio, an indoor lap pool, and a golf simulator.

An outdoor deck on the 38th floor features grilling stations, dining areas, and an outdoor movie screen with lounge seating and a great lawn. Crowning ALTA LIC is a landscaped rooftop terrace as well as a lounge with a fireplace, a communal workspace table, and an events space.
Amenities also extend to pets, with dog-walking, pet-sitting, and overnight care services, as well as a grooming salon, a dog run, and a veterinary care clinic.
Developers Simon Barron Development and Quadrum Global highly boast ALTA LIC’s co-living component, which covers the building’s second through fifteenth floors. Spearheaded by co-living company Ollie, the space includes 422 bedrooms located inside 169 microsuites ranging from two- to three-bedrooom configurations.

The shared suites come fully furnished, and tenants receive complimentary cable and Wi-Fi, weekly towel and linen services, replenishment of Malin + Goetz bath amenities, and regularly curated events by live-in managers. Prices for microsuites begin at $3,224/month, with co-living rent begins at $1,376/month.
Situated in the Queens Plaza neighborhood of Long Island City, ALTA LIC rises alongside the many cultural destinations, park sites, nightlife, restaurants, and local shops that have contributed to its emergence as one of the most popular neighborhoods outside of Manhattan. For those looking for quick and easy transportation into Manhattan, the tower stands in close proximity to the E, M, R, 7, N, and W subway lines.
