The Michael East introduces new condo-quality rentals to East Harlem

At the East Harlem corner of Second Avenue and East 117th Street, a new 12-unit rental building has opened its doors offering New Yorkers two-bedroom apartments from $3,600/month. Named The Michael East, the seven-story building at 301 East 117th Street is on the M15 dedicated bus route and just two avenues from the 116th Street subway station serving the 6 train.

The building has just two apartments per floor and most units have the benefit of a private balcony. The apartments are said to have condo-quality finishes that include floor-to-ceiling windows, oak floors, nine-foot-high ceilings, central air, and in-unit Blomberg washer-dryer units. Other nice touches include Rollease Archmeda Shades, LED recessed lighting, and designer kitchens. Amenities include a video intercom and a shared roof deck with sweeping city views.
