109 East 79th Street has consistently performed well in terms of sales ever since the marketing began, but did especially well last week, when a total of $60,162,263 was recorded across three sales in the building. Leading the charge was #PH17, which came in at $29,962,263, or just above the asking price of $29,530,000. It was trailed by #PH18; while its closing price of $25,500,000 was 21.5% below the last ask of $32,500,000, it was nevertheless good enough for the second-highest sale by far.
The past week's top sale outside 109 East 79th Street, top downtown sale, and third-highest sale overall took place at 22 Bond Street, an uber-exclusive boutique condominium with a historically sensitive design, site-specific commissions by Roy Nachum and Federico Uribe, and only six units. #PH2, a massive triplex penthouse with a private roof terrace, closed for $16,500,000.
