As construction on The Hayworth winds down, the 210-foot condominium could not have been completed without many valuable partnerships. To make the most of the prime Upper East Side location, developer Ceruzzi Properties partnered with the MTA to create a wider staircase and elevator kiosk for the 86th Street subway stop directly below the building. The striking stone façade is designed by HOK Architects, and all interiors are by AD100 designer SheltonMindel. The building’s fitness center was designed by The Wright Fit, and the 92nd Street Y curated the music and movement studio and the children's playroom with art space. Most recently, the developer reached out to two hip young designers to design four model units.

Sam Amoia, a Rising Talent award-winner at Paris’s Maison et Objet Fair, brings his eye for bold color and patterns to three model apartments. All units transcend the typical “white box” and show an appreciation for the quality craftsmanship that went into them. One of them is a four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath estimated to be from $7.295 million. Another is a two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath estimated to be from $3.65 million.

Lilly Bunn’s eponymous firm is known for interiors “high in style but not pretense,” and that is certainly the guiding principle for her model unit. Her design brings playful touches to a classic Upper East Side apartment with a result that is both attractive and approachable. This unit, a three-bedroom, three-bath with a private balcony, is estimated to be from $4.295 million.

Like all apartments, the model units enjoy open layouts, high ceilings, oversized canted bay windows, and custom oak parquet floors. Custom kitchens are outfitted with Gaggenau appliance suites, marble-topped islands, countertops, and backsplashes, and custom walnut cabinetry. Master suites come with generous closet space and luxurious five-fixture baths.

In addition to the fitness center, music studio, and playroom, amenities at The Hayworth include a library, a Great Room with billiards table and catering kitchen, and a rooftop terrace with fireside seating and dining areas. It is excellently located near Central Park, Museum Mile, and popular restaurants, shops, and supermarkets.
Sales launched in May, and current availabilities range from $3.495 million for a two-bedroom to $11.775 million for a five-bedroom near the top of the building. At an average price of $2,577 per square foot, The Hayworth comes in well above the average Carnegie Hill condo price of $1,664 per square foot (per CityRealty data). See more area listings here.
