From the time the High Line opened to the public, West Chelsea has evolved into a bastion of high-end, creative architecture. The latest entrant is 534 West 29th, a boutique condominium offering six full-floor units between the High Line and Hudson Yard. Many units come with private terraces, and all interiors feature private key-locked elevator access, open living areas, top-of-the-line kitchen appliances, and high-end finishes throughout.

Sales at 534 West 29th kicked off in September 2022. However, the building took shape amidst some heavy competition - on this block alone, it is next door to Soori High Line, which is best known for its private pools, and two doors down from the Cary Tamarkin-designed 550 West 29th Street. Prices on the three listed availabilities were recently cut, possibly in an effort to draw renewed attention to them.
