It’s not surprising to hear about celebrities buying apartments in New York, but Alex Rodriguez has taken that one step further and bought a whole apartment building. The New York Post says he is part of an investment team that purchased Allen House, a 14-story, 423-unit rental in Turtle Bay, and has grand plans for it: The building will be rebranded with the Stonehenge name, the apartments will be upgraded with new electricity and in-unit washer/dryers, and a gym will be added to the amenities.

Is model Karlie Kloss saying good-bye to New York? A look at her recent real estate history might lead one to think so—barely a month since she and husband Josh Kushner sold their Nolita apartment, she’s putting her small West Village townhouse on the market too. The Wall Street Journal reports that she paid $1.975 million for it in
2012, and it is now listed for $2.75 million.

The designer bought the corner duplex for $25.5 million in 2008 and tried to flip it for $50 million a few months later, but the recession may have staved off interest. The home went back on the market for a whopping $80 million following renovations, and the price has since dropped. The New York Post broke the news and added that some of the furniture will be included in the deal.
