In December 2017, LA-based cinematographer Phil Holland teamed up with Gotham Film Works to shoot a series of New York City flyovers. The incredible high-resolution video was captured in 12K by cinematographer Phil Holland using three RED Monstro 8K VistaVision cameras mounted to a copter. The footage from each camera was then stitched together to create the spectacular 12K panorama that supposedly has 48.5 times the resolution of 1080p and the equivalent of 100 megapixels per frame.
