Just 13 signed contracts were signed last week at $4 million and above, according to Olshan's latest weekly report, but the number is considered typical for a summer in real estate. The priciest contracts came from #36A, a $15.5 million four-bedroom home at the Richard Meier-designed One Waterline Square. It's a 3,783-square-foot spread that features those desirable Downtown and Hudson River views.

As for the priciest sale, that honor went to rock star Jon Bon Jovi's former penthouse at The New Museum Building in SoHo. Offloading it wasn't easy, but he ended up selling his ridiculously massive home (over 7,000 square feet!) for $34M back in 2015 to Austrian-American businessman Gerhard Andlinger. Less than two years later, Andlinger decides to list for $38M. And well, it finally sold after an $11.5M price chop, bringing that final price to $26.5M. Standout features of the penthouse include panoramic city views, dramatic arched windows, and three landscaped, zen-like terraces.
