As the tallest building in the Hudson Yards complex, expectations for 35 Hudson Yards are about as high as its elevation of more than 1,000 feet. The glistening design by David Childs and Skidmore Owings & Merrill makes a strong statement with Bavarian limestone piers, graceful curves, and a series of setbacks that twist around the building as it ascends. And as newly revealed renderings show, the amenities and apartments of 35 Hudson Yards are as awe-inspiring as its facade.

Grand-scale two- through six-bedroom residences feature interiors by AD100 designer Tony Ingrao and start on the 53rd floor to maximize views of the Hudson River, Manhattan skyline, Hudson Yards Public Square and Gardens, and sculptural centerpiece by Heatherwick Studios. Upon entering, a gracious entry foyer and gallery leads to a Great Room with soaring ceilings, expansive windows, and mullion detailing. Kitchens are outfitted with custom cabinetry by Tony Ingrao and Smallbone of Devizes, Gaggenau appliances, and marble countertops. All bedrooms have en suite baths, and master suites boast walk-in closets and super-luxe baths with polished Iceberg Quartzite slabs and freestanding tubs, as well as oversized windows overlooking the Hudson River for some lucky residents. Powder rooms with polished Polaris Quartzite floors and custom glass and onyx-based sinks prove that no detail is overlooked.

By virtue of location, Hudson Yards residents live steps from more than 100 shops and restaurants that include New York’s first Neiman Marcus. However, residents of 35 Hudson Yards need not leave the building to enjoy the best the development has to offer. They have access to memberships at the building’s Equinox Fitness Club and Spa and SoulCycle, not to mention priority reservations at the building’s culinary offerings. These include a new concept by Stephen Starr of Buddakan and Le Coucou fame that includes in-home dining. A full-time door staff and concierge are on hand, and a Director of Residences will liaise with the Equinox Hotel to handle in-residence dining, valet and laundry services, private car and ground transportation, and bookings.
A sellout price is not listed on any of the offering plans, but listings at 35 Hudson Yards are said to start at $5 million. Fifteen Hudson Yards, the first building in the mega-development to launch sales, is already 60% sold with remaining listings ranging from $4.315 million for a two-bedroom to $32 million for a four-bedroom penthouse.
